Openomy Status

Phew, well that took longer than expected. Nothing like a 5AM maintenance session complete a night, eh?

Well, we hope the work we did improves the sluggish performance of the server as of late. It's not going to be the most amazing performance gains, but we think it'll help some. To really help alleviate the problem, we have a whole stable of new servers in the mail and once those are here we believe you'll see massive improvements. Expect to hear more about that just after the New Year.

Tonight at 2am EST we will be taking Openomy down for maintenance. We hope to correct some of the performance issues we've been facing recently, specifically related to file uploads and downloads.

We expect it to take about 2 hours. Check this blog for updates.
